Why I pursue the business.

The sole purpose of music whether for healing or just entertainment or both is the very first thing a listener will come across when listening to music the first time. The feel of a song, sonics that touch the soul for healing. As a music fan, growing up listening to almost everything, I have carried the tunes over time as a grown up adult without losing the song or a beat in daily living. The songs are in our heads, soul, spirit & mind. & engraved in our hearts for a time & season, where they resonate the most. Press into spirit, reach for the unknown is what music serves us up with. It can control our moods where the responsibility for us to take account with is up to us whether we lose what we don't need &/or gain what personal attainments derived for us through this medium. It shapes our philosophy where identification of thought is revealed, recognized after its delivery. Its sheer pleasure to submerse into our favourite songs & communicate life long lessons from them with our friends & loved ones. It may even cause a spark to start our own movements through music. Or a tv sitcom with a theme of nothing less than inspiration. The greatest of them will always linger in our psyche & we will hold their works for as long as we maintain good emotions & connected-ness with one another. All of this through recordings. Now, there has been a shift in artistic theme over the last decade and a lot unprecedented. The explosion of new technology enabled easier access to music making. That is a very good & great thing. What is not so cool, is the lack of direction and in result, produces sameness from one artist to another. This should be a stepping stone if not an idea for peers to encourage otherwise for artists to find their unique voices. Only through this age old pattern in philosophy while grasping a sense of fresh insights can we really break through new grounds. We are all unique individuals as artists and musicians and this is what should be pursued in our music making. Not carbon copies of the last guy who made their first million dollars. As artists/musicians, we are next in line as spokespersons to a hungry youth. Bare in mind that we were once in their shoes and if you grew up in the 80s & 90s, you will agree and know for yourself that there were no shortages in class recordings giving us inspiration during this era and point in time. & I bet your parents would add that the art of music also gave them their aid in point of need from recordings they heard on radio in their generation. The youth of today, people a lot younger than Gen X are listening to Gen X music. I have consoled with many on this topic which is why i write these insights as in to how to have that same substance of offering referring to back then and bring them in the now. There's plenty more to discover and without these manifestations, the music industry (though it flourished in the hey days)will continue its despair because of people with a lack of vision. Its biblical for anyone who wants to make a turnaround & pursue at the same time a career in this field of work. So, what do you say folks?
