Gospel.

We really got a lot to answer for. The crucial days of now & at present time, nobody can tell you something you already know in your gut. I refer to Christians in the faith who know better yet are as mundane & fruitless as we have ever been. Meaning, we get a little over comfortable. I know I do, & have had for a while. The first point I realized about the gospel is that given you test its credibility, you wouldn't stand a chance debating it, unless you turn a blind eye. That's the only sure way of ignoring warnings & conviction. Yet, it cannot be silenced as much as you'd want to a lot of the times. Both as a believer & a child sold to sin. Yet, here is where a follower differs. Simply by following. You don't need to save the world in a day but it can be done through a lifetime of wasted efforts, repetitive mistakes, bad risks, adversity, calamity & the rest of it given you hold the very element of the Christian faith, which is that nothing can be done out of personal merits. & before you can save the world, the beauty needs to be evident in your own world. This is due to malpractice or what not, but you firstly need to know what you are talking about. Then, people can see the light through you & in you by the way you don't fake your smile. It could take a day to get saved & a lifetime for you to work out your salvation. & that is what can mean everything must first be lost in order to gain anything worth gaining to the glory of God. It can mean losing anything dear & everything you have left. Children know this by the upbringing in their youth by parents who wanted more for their children which is why the most of us got a belting. You carry this practice out in the real world & people already discredit you & you are urged to reprove yourself to meet a standard everyone else goes through. & wala, the world as we know it. Brokenness, pain & fruitless suffering that can only be compensated by material things which is deemed to be alright. Yet, it is already completely flawed as family lives are torn because of an unmet standard the world implies on you. All the way down to the bottom of the food chain. The Word of God can make you & break you. Or it could just wake you up for starters. That's good enough for me as at least I am not left alone in the dark. All it asks is to follow. I leave the standards to the Maker & Creator of everything that once was good. To the glory of God. Amen.

What the technology surge means to the creative.

You've heard it before but it doesn't mean we all get the final picture. For the creative arts industry & record business, technology advancement has dictated our attitudes to our craft & what limits we put on our practice/s. For the artist, its been a great step up in terms of access to recording technologies not needing to much more than a soundcard & a computer. But, what it meant for the business is an out-pour of recorded works that diminished in demand strictly due to volume. Hence, the lack of what the current demand is also dictated the worth of even the best of artists in the recording industry that led to under-valued price tags just so streaming platforms can get their feed. That's ok with me for I have only really knew how to get by doing my own thing. But to the greats, its big business lost. & now, we all have grown to accept it. & it breaks 'fairness & due credit' where its due & really sad to have functioned on the dragon&

Assess your fears & redirect the course of your life.

The business of doing & simple daily practices that enhances productivity.

What's productivity? How do you define its measure? How do you view it based on your priorities? What decides where you put your focus, time & energies on? These questions are what we most often quietly ask ourselves in our subconscious though often times, due to debris, fail to hear our most distinct voices as we are choked by the things & concerns of this world. My field of interest (sometimes a little obsessive, which is ok), being the general creative industries, specifically in music, its very difficult to see things as they appear & personally, I pray everyday to gain clarity within it all as a daily creative. We are in the age of free media, & for the musician, that's generally not what we want. Its not reasonable to pursue the record industry due to exhausted business models caused by the internet. On the other hand, its the most important thing in my life, though however questionable. Not because there's no income from it, but just because of the bu
