Experience is a brutal teacher.

If you would cooperate then sadness is only at the start. But the rewards are freedom of self & a detachment to the traps of acceptance & approval. I am mainly talking to myself most of the times when I realized this common human agenda. Right here, right now. Yes, this very moment, the smallest of all stillness & peace of the deadened soul adding brightness to your perceptions. Perhaps even to aid the regeneration process of your humanity. & it helps when you are at your weakest moments. Frees the human spirit without any need to cooperate blindly to unnecessary expectations from yourself & others. But, its mostly yourself that is the common enemy. & when you are at war with yourself, the product is hate. Gets bigger without any relenting outside of your control when you don't recognise this domino effect. Actually just got back from church service & this seems to be the biggest questions in present day life of fellow believers. Brothers, sisters, congregations, etc. Just boils down that this is the very thing hindering the house of faith from really shining God's love to a lost & broken world. No cliche about it, & as a matter of truth, this is the only thing that can make someone as relevant as the very truth that we all pursue blindly in most cases whether we like it or not, regardless of background, creed &/or religion. When we live to not feed our own egos & pride, it can shake you up but its reward is fullness & clarity, whether in little or plenty. If not, this is the only thing that gives fruit to human suffering. Otherwise, the world is how we know it & it will always be that way. False security, season messiahs, & aimlessly beating the air. For most, only a few can make this way of life make sense. Yet, to others, it just doesn't quite cut it. If you're honest enough, you might want to put on your Sherlock Holmes hat & go for gold. From everything in your streets, the television, your circle of friends you will soon accept that that life operates on one theme. Unless, you get your hands dirty & honestly ask yourself why things are the way they are, yet everyone seems to be happy just to go along the same tired way. Its not a philosophical question as much as it is a common observation with too many hidden agendas enough to make you jump out of your seat & say, well, 'doesn't this stink'. Boils down to a single element in life. This would be to my best answer which is, no pain, no gain, but to the very best & greatest of them all, nothing much more can come through for you but rewards you will never find here though here is a great place to start. To God be the glory. Amen.

What the technology surge means to the creative.

You've heard it before but it doesn't mean we all get the final picture. For the creative arts industry & record business, technology advancement has dictated our attitudes to our craft & what limits we put on our practice/s. For the artist, its been a great step up in terms of access to recording technologies not needing to much more than a soundcard & a computer. But, what it meant for the business is an out-pour of recorded works that diminished in demand strictly due to volume. Hence, the lack of what the current demand is also dictated the worth of even the best of artists in the recording industry that led to under-valued price tags just so streaming platforms can get their feed. That's ok with me for I have only really knew how to get by doing my own thing. But to the greats, its big business lost. & now, we all have grown to accept it. & it breaks 'fairness & due credit' where its due & really sad to have functioned on the dragon&

Assess your fears & redirect the course of your life.

The business of doing & simple daily practices that enhances productivity.

What's productivity? How do you define its measure? How do you view it based on your priorities? What decides where you put your focus, time & energies on? These questions are what we most often quietly ask ourselves in our subconscious though often times, due to debris, fail to hear our most distinct voices as we are choked by the things & concerns of this world. My field of interest (sometimes a little obsessive, which is ok), being the general creative industries, specifically in music, its very difficult to see things as they appear & personally, I pray everyday to gain clarity within it all as a daily creative. We are in the age of free media, & for the musician, that's generally not what we want. Its not reasonable to pursue the record industry due to exhausted business models caused by the internet. On the other hand, its the most important thing in my life, though however questionable. Not because there's no income from it, but just because of the bu
